Community Scavenger Hunt

Monday, November 25, 2019 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Everyone needs to know how to locate important resources in their community that will help them be successful. One way to learn about resources is to receive a pamphlet; a more fun and experiential way is to complete a city-wide scavenger hunt! Build skills related to locating and accessing agencies or services that can help you successfully transition to adulthood! Participants will search Woodward in efforts to location community resources, opportunities and businesses related to all 7 Key Elements. Also…youth will be eligible to win awesome prizes!

Who should attend?

Youth:Ages 14 - 17 in DHS or Tribal out-of-home placement.

Adults:DHS and Tribal Child Welfare staff, Tribal workers, resource parents, youth workers and volunteers who work with these eligible youth.

Needed: Workers or approved drivers for transportation purposes
